Why are some young athletes more advanced than others?
They might be talented or had exposure to certain movement advice and training that gives them an edge. Talent is just a small part of the equation. To achieve athletic advancement, most young athletes must work harder and smarter. Laying a solid foundation (of assessment, training and prescription) between the ages of 6-14 is crucial for enhanced athletic performance. At Movement Consulting, we help young people be their best by assessing balance, coordination and movement efficiency. With a detailed assessment report, we prescribe tools and skills for improved performance. As a result, most athletes are able to compete in their given sport with an edge.
